Design of double speed chain assembly line
With the continuous pursuit of production efficiency in the manufacturing industry, the major factories are gradually introducing a variety of automatic and semi-automatic production lines.
Double speed chain With large transportation capacity and long transportation distance, the pipeline can complete several process operations at the same time in the transportation process, which is widely used in the production lines of various electronic appliances, mechanical and electrical industries. The most commonly used industries of double speed chain assembly line are: computer monitor production line, computer host production line, notebook computer assembly line, air conditioning production line, television assembly line, microwave oven assembly line, printer assembly line, fax machine assembly line, audio power amplifier production line, engine assembly line.
It is the most effective combination of machines and equipment to meet the requirements of on-line inspection and inspection.
The production line composed of double speed chain assembly line is usually called: self flow conveying system. Double speed chain conveyor is mainly used for material transportation in assembly and processing production line. Its conveying principle is to use the speed increasing function of double speed chain to make the tooling board supporting goods run quickly, stop at the corresponding operation position through the stopper, or complete the stacking action and moving through the corresponding instructions , transposition, special line and other functions. Because the pallet used for transporting goods needs to be used repeatedly, it is seldom used alone. Instead, it forms a horizontal or vertical circulation system together with various special machines such as jack up and level shifting machine and jack up transposer. It uses special, surface treated extruded aluminum alloy profile as guide rail, so that the self flow conveying system has very good stability and durability in the transportation process, and is suitable for mass continuous production of products. At the same time, the flexible and diversified design of gravity conveying system makes it have multi-functional characteristics.
The on-line tooling plate flows to the end of the double speed chain, and the circulating elevator unit moves the tooling plate to the offline double speed chain. The tooling plate moves back to the head of the production line at the end of the production line, and then the tool plate is moved back to the line by the elevator at the head. The circulation elevator unit drives a small patterned conveyor belt unit up and down through the air cylinder (as shown in the figure), and the pattern conveyor unit ensures that the tooling plate moves in place smoothly.
The parallel station on the double speed chain production line has a 90 degree jacking steering unit, which also drives a small conveyor belt unit to lift the tooling plate away from the double speed chain through the cylinder, and the conveyor belt moves to realize 90 degree translation. On the station outside the main line, there is a roof chain connecting the conveyor belt unit, and the two start and stop at the same time to realize the smooth moving out of the tooling plate.
In addition, there is an auxiliary line for assembling the motor in the form of roller belt. The end of the auxiliary line is stopped by the photoelectric switch control line. When the assembled motor moves to the end, the auxiliary line stops automatically, waiting for the mainline workers to take the motor.
Online workers do not need to move their positions, and the accessories needed are transported by logistics personnel.

8000 sets / year, one shift system. There are 15 employees, including 1 for quality inspection, 6 for main line assembly, 2 for auxiliary line assembly, 3 for offline pre assembly, 1 for material delivery, 1 for packaging and 1 for line length.
2. Main dimensions
The total length of the assembly line is 25.2 meters, the width is 2 meters, the height is 2.2 meters, and the floor area is 50 square meters.
The standard length of each station is 2m.
The effective length of double speed chain of mainstream water line: 21.3 m, and the processing board is 0.84 m above the ground.
The effective length of the auxiliary line pattern conveyor belt is 3 meters, the width is 400 mm, and the upper surface of the belt is 0.84 meters above the ground.

The equipment adopts two Delta PLC to control the main line online and offline independently, and each PLC has two parallel stations. The two PLCs are respectively located in two control cabinets at the head and tail of the main line. The reason for dividing two control cabinets is to save wires as much as possible. The common station on auxiliary line and main line is not connected with PLC.

Description of mechanical transmission
1. Double speed chain drive
In this scheme, the double speed chain moves in the aluminum alloy chain slot. After reaching the sprocket at one end, it turns back into the lower half of the chain slot to return (as shown in Fig. 2). The three-phase asynchronous motor decelerates through the worm gear and worm, and drives the sprocket to rotate through the chain drive. The tooling plate is placed on the double speed wheel, and there are chain grooves on both sides to limit the lateral movement.
2. Structure of circulating elevator
The lifting part of the elevator is driven by the air cylinder. The cylinder joint is directly connected with the left and right chain wheels. The chain wheel forms a moving pulley. One end of the chain is fixed, and the other end is connected with the lifting frame, so that the lifting range is doubled (as shown in Fig. 3). The lifting frame is fixed on the sliding block of two vertical guide rails, which limits the horizontal movement. The small pattern conveyor belt unit and its driving motor are fixed on the lifting frame.
When the tooling plate is close to the end of the double speed chain: the limit switch at the upper end of the double speed chain is sensed → the conveyor belt moves forward to receive the tooling plate → the limit switch at the end of the conveyor belt senses → the conveyor belt stops → the cylinder descends → the conveyor belt moves backward to send out the tooling plate → the limit switch at the front end of the double speed chain is sensed → the conveyor belt stops → the cylinder rises and returns.
3、 90 degree jack up steering unit
Through the cylinder and the pattern conveyor belt with the jack up tooling plate to separate from the double speed chain, the 90 degree steering function is realized. When the cylinder stroke is 50 mm, the small pattern conveyor belt unit is pushed to rise, and the tooling plate is located on the conveyor belt. The conveyor belt unit motor and the external parallel station roof chain motor rotate simultaneously to move the tooling plate to the top plate chain. After the assembly process is completed on the roof chain, the roof chain and the conveyor belt unit rotate reversely to move the tooling plate back to the main line.
Working process: press the plate key → the corresponding stopper of the main line is raised → the plate is in place → the jacking cylinder is raised → the lifting is in place → the conveyor belt and the roof chain rotate at the same time to send out the tooling plate → the tooling plate meets the limit switch of the roof chain station → the conveyor belt and the roof chain stop → in-situ assembly → press the plate feeding key → the conveyor belt and the roof chain rotate reversely at the same time to return to the tooling plate → the cylinder descends
4、 Auxiliary line conveyor belt
The auxiliary line is a simple patterned conveyor belt roller structure, which is driven by a patterned roller. The motor drives the roller through the chain drive to drive the patterned conveyor belt. (as shown in Fig. 5) the horizontal position of the roller at the end of the conveyor belt line can be adjusted by screw to tension the belt. At the same time, there is a reflective photoelectric sensor at the end of the conveyor belt line. When the assembled motor moves to the end, the sensor responds and stops the belt movement.
